Believers Fulfulling Their Calling Where God Has Placed Them
RRJ: You two have been in each other’s lives for a long time, having grown up together in the same youth group and eventually getting married. What impact has that early Christian instruction, then belief, played in your life and marriage?
RRJ: You shared a story with me about going to the alter at church when you were 13 to ask God for wisdom. Does that mean you placed your faith in Christ at an early age?
RRJ: You grew up the daughter of a pastor. Did your family’s Christian witness help you to put your faith in Christ at an early age?
RRJ: Dr. Kim, thank you for taking the time to share your “Faith @ Work” story with our readers. To begin, please tell us how you came to believe in God and His plan of redemption through Christ.
RRJ: Lane, thank you for sharing your story with our readers. To begin, tell us about your relationship with Christ. Have you been a devoted follower of Christ for a long time?
RRJ: Thank you so much for taking the time to share how your faith is at work out in the community where God has placed you. To begin with, how long have you two been followers of Christ?
RRJ: Deanna, you’re the Branch Manager at Alabama Telco Credit Union. For our readers who aren’t familiar with Alabama Telco, can you tell them about your services and what makes you unique?
RRJ: Where are you from originally and how did you end up in the River Region?
I came to Montgomery from Brazil in 2001 as a transfer college soccer athlete during my sophomore year. I came from a city of around four million people in the Southeast part of Brazil, the business center of the country. It was not too hard for me to adapt to Montgomery because of the Southern hospitality and all the great friends I made here.
RRJ: People who don’t know you are probably still familiar with your name since it’s often wrapped around buildings under construction in the area. Tell us about what you do.
